ROBIN F. MUGFORD
Robin Mugford is International Trade
Specialist with the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Assistance
Center in Illinois. She assists companies with many of their export
needs, from finding distributors to answering customs-related questions.
Robin F. Mugford joined the staff of the Chicago District Office of the
U.S. Department of Commerce in 1973. Prior to joining the Commerce
Department, Robin attended Western Illinois University where she majored
in French. Her previous employment experience was with two Chicago area
corporations' international departments. In her capacity as Manager of
the Export Assistance Center in Highland Park, Robin provides counseling
assistance to firms looking to expand sales into new international
markets or enter into exporting for the first time. She covers the
territory including the northern suburbs of Cook County and all of Lake
County. Robin is also responsible for the industry sectors including
environmental technologies, automotive parts and accessories, and
analytical and scientific instruments. She is a member of Commerce
Department's National Environmental Technologies Team and Automotive
Team which were formed to facilitate exports in these key target
industries.
